Loop Team Member Alessandro is born in the beautiful town Trieste close to the border to Slovenia. "Ale" is not only a very skilled fly fisher aiming for Trout and char, he is also been a professional Snowborder for many years and now the head coach at the Italian National Snowboard freestyle team. A perfect match as the winter season finish and the fishing season starts in a perfect matching of time !

Kai Finbråten

Kai quickly developed a fascination for fly fishing. The fascination grew and now he is know as "Kola-Kai", after having spent more than 6 months on the Kola Peninsula catching brown trout. He calls himself a "Pike maniac," and in the spring he is hunting for the Nordic pike. In addition to being a great fisherman, Kai is an excellent singer who always has a smile ready. Kai has worked in the fishing industry for almost 15 years, and is currently a Key Account Manager for Loop Tackle Europe. He also teaches fly casting classes and demos.

Lars Munk

Lars Munk is based in Swedish Lapland, right by the Torne and Lainio Rivers. Here Lars runs his company VildmarksMekka - a hunting, fishing and outdoor shop, which includes a guide centre and fishing camp called Onka. Lars and the crew of instructors offers single and double-hand fly fishing courses during the course of the season. He is a certified FFF and EFFA ​ flycasting instructor and has been working as a pro-guide and instructor in Sweden since 2004. Lars spend 95% of his time swinging a double-handed rod for big Baltic salmon.

LUCA FILIPPINI

At the age of five Luca started fishing in the lakes around his hometown of Mantova, Italy. Since then, his passion for fly fishing never stopped and became seriously addicted to the sport. Luca loves all the fly fishing techniques although a small preference for the nymph. In the last year he has travelled and fished in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Spain, Austria, Sweden and Norway even though his favorite destinations are the rivers of Italian North Eastern searching for marbles, brownies and big graylings. Mark Patterson

Mark Patterson has fished for trout and salmon in Ireland for over 30 years. He has also fished extensively in England, Scotland and Wales. He works as an angling consultant, instructor and guide all over Ireland and is heavily involved in introducing the next generation of anglers to the sport. Mark specialises in fishing for wild brown trout and

Ronny Landin

Ronny Landin is located on the big Kalix and Torne rivers in northern Sweden. He runs his own family fishing company called Jockfall on the great Kalix river, where he works as a guide and instructor for both beginners and more advanced fly fishers. Ronny specialises is single-handed and double-handed fly casting with both short and long-bellied lines. He is a world champion fly caster of great merit and holds several Swedish records and a world record in the 5wt distance discipline.

STAFFAN DAHLBOM

Staffan bought his first fly rod and tied his first fly in the early eighties. Ever since much of his life has revolved around fly fishing and things related to it. He has also developed a profound interest for fly casting. Staffan teaches math and science for living and became a certified fly casting instructor for single handed rods some years ago. This way he gets to mix both hobby and profession during casting courses.

TROND ASKILDSEN

Lives in Sandnes on the west coast of Norway. Chasing for searun browns all year round, and is often found guiding and fishing for "storlax" in Bjerkreimselva.
