In 2015, we made the hard decision that it was time to stop raising goats for 4H youngsters. In 2019, we sold our remaining goats to our son and daughter-in-law, but the goats remain on our farm and we help care for them. We also have the benefit of being able to use their goat milk for caring for and raising puppies... Instead of a farm full of goats, we began to redirect our attention in 2015 to our beloved Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Cappy and the idea of raising Corgis... NannyKid Farm began with an orphan foal, Orphan Annie, in 1999 and grew from there. Having a background in ranching and a love of animals we quickly fell in love with the goats we borrowed and rented to raise Annie. Once we decided to raise goats, we researched the various breeds of dairy goats and selected Toggenburg dairy goats 10 miles southwest of Wheatland, Wyoming. In 2003, we moved to Kaycee, Wyoming and added Boer meat goats in 2004.
