Operating since 1966, Wholesale Tire Company was started as a home-based business. Bill bought used tires and casings and sold them from his home. He did this for about 2 years, until he rented a building on Washington Boulevard in Jessup, Maryland. From there, he moved to Dorsey Road in Hanover, Maryland where he bought property and two buildings. He built a 20,000 SF warehouse to store the tires... Our company has been in business for over 40 years. We provide quality used truck tires to companies from United States, Canada, Mexico and abroad. We ship anywhere! We also carry truck tire casings and retreads. We are ready to handle your tire needs. If you use a large quantity of tires, we can save you lots of money... The history of the business started with Bill's father, Arthur Cook. He started Black Diamond Tire Company which soon turned into Cook's Tire Center. The tire business became a family affair.
