Amy qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2004 from Cannington College, Yeovil. She has worked in a range of disciplines including orthopaedic, ophthalmology, emergency and critical care and working nights in a referral hospital. Amy joined Coombefield in 2008 and has gained a nursing certificate in Anaesthesia and Critical Care, Higher Education Certificate in Clinical veterinary nursing, Diploma in Small Animal Veterinary Nursing and BSc(Hons) in Clinical Veterinary Nursing and the BSAVA merit award in surgical nursing. Amy enjoys the anaesthetic, surgical and emergency aspects of veterinary nursing and working any night shift she can.
Amy also runs Coombefields website, Coombefields Facebook page and the display boards within the Axminster hospital.

I have completed the level 2 ANA course and also the level three animal management course at both at Bicton. I thoroughly enjoy my bowls which I play for two clubs. Outdoor bowls at Chardstock in the summer and indoor bowls in the winter at Bridport. I represent Devon U25 indoors and outdoor which I'm extremely proud of. I also represent Disability Bowls England. I really enjoy playing alongside my Grandad indoors both in competitions and Friendlies.

Donna qualified in 1999, and lectured at Bicton College for 10 years. Donna started at Coombefield Veterinary Hospital in 2015 and is also an OSCE examiner. Donna enjoys horse riding and has three small children who keep here busy in her spare time.

Gemma is Somerset born and bred. She grew up with a great love of basketball, hoping she would grow to 6 foot in height and play for the Taunton Dragons women's team. However she didn't grow that tall, so she settled on becoming a veterinary receptionist and she joined Coombefield in November 2019.

Grace has recently joined Coombefield after moving practice to be closer to home. She is in her second year of veterinary nurse training and enjoys inpatient care, emergency's and monitoring anaesthetics. In her spare time she attempts to entertain her little one eyed cat who she rescued, walking her parents dogs and going to classic car shows.

Hayley has been a receptionist at Coombefield since 2008. She has two dogs, two cats, guinea pigs and chickens. Hayley also has a keen interest in wildlife, Game of Thrones, sky diving and throwing surprise birthday parties for people.

Jane completed her training as a veterinary nurse at Coombefield in the summer of 2015. Previously she studied animal behaviour and welfare at University in Gloucester. Jane's main interests are in canine behaviour, anaesthesia and in-patient care.

Robyn qualified as a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) in 2019. Before working at Coombefeld, she completed a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management at Bicton College. Robyn has a particular interest in rescue and rehabilitation and, in 2014, travelled to El Bosque in spain to volunteer in a local animal welfare shelter. Robyn has two cats, Rory and Nahla, and a cheeky Border Collie called Nellie. Robyn will start her student veterinary nurse training in January 2020.
