Ashley Stevens

Ashley qualified as a chef back in 1990 and worked in the merchant navy for 12 years for companies including Stena Line, P&O Ferries, Shell, British Petroleum and Royal Fleet Auxiliary. He also worked in several high-status hotels in Ireland, such as the famous Standhouse Hotel sitting on the Curragh Racecourse and 5-star Killeshea House Hotel (Punchestown) before moving to Valencia, Spain for two years managing a local Tapas bar in Sagunto. Upon returning in 2002, Ashley went off to study a degree at Blackpool and Fylde college attaining a degree in International Hospitality Management, where he gained invaluable experience as Food and Beverage Manager at the Independently owned Carbis Bay Hotel near St Ives whilst on placement under the wings of owner Steven Baker and family. After gaining his degree Ashley went on to have a very successful career working for companies such as Greeneking, Spirit Group, Mitchell & Butler, Frankie and Benny's, Hotel De vie and Oyo Technology and Hospitality which he took valuable experience from whilst also taking a deep understanding and wealth of experience in what separates the ever successful corporate sector from the sometimes failing Independents. Upon setting up Action Hospitality Consultancy, Ashley has opened several successful restaurants and hotels across the UK using all of his experience. Sarah, A proud mother of 2 children, Sarah brings almost 20 years of experience in opening her own restaurants, having successfully made a career from excellent location planning and identifying target markets to turn empty premises into thriving must go to food and beverage outlets before selling them to start her next new project thus leaving successful, exciting, thriving and innovative businesses to the excited new owners. Sarah has an excellent eye for detail not just in location location and interior and exterior design, but her very high standards and expectations of customer service make her a clients favourite, but beware, her fun nature shouldn't be taken for granted because she is a perfectionist and until everyone meets her standards then it is Sarah's belief that the business is not ready to open its doors.
