Gwen Lister - Chairman

Lister is a Namibian journalist, publisher, apartheid opponent and press freedom activist. She was the founding editor of The Namibian and currently serves as the Executive Chairperson of the Namibia Media Trust. Lister was the Chairperson of the 1991 conference that adopted the flagship Windhoek Declaration on an Independent and Pluralistic African Press. Lister has won several international media awards for her work. In 1992, she received an International Press Freedom Award from the US-based Committee to Protect Journalists, recognising journalists "who have courageously provided independent news coverage and viewpoints under difficult circumstances. Harvard University awarded her its Nieman Fellowship for mid-career journalists in 1996. In 1997, she was awarded the MISA Press Freedom Award. The Media Institute of Southern Africa awarded Lister for having "almost single-handedly kept up the mantle of press freedom in Namibia."

Theo Frank

Theo Frank - Advocate Theo Frank SC Advocate Theo J Frank (SC) is one of Namibia's seasoned Senior Legal Councils. He holds a Bachelors of Laws and Bachelors of Arts in Law and also holds a Diploma in Business Management and a Certificate in Tax Law. He was appointed as an ad hoc Judge of Appeal to the Namibia Supreme Court with effect from March 1 to December 31 2017. Frank served as a High Court Judge from 1990 to 1996 and intermittently as ad hoc Judge of Appeal from 1995. Frank is chairperson of both NedNamibia Holdings and Nedbank Namibia. He also serves as Chairperson of Free Press of Namibia.
