SMAG - Key Persons

Rainer Veith, born in 1969, is married and has 2 children. After his apprenticeship at Dresdner Bank, he completed his studies at the University of Paderborn as a graduate in business administration. Later, Mr. Veith successfully completed his MBA studies at WHU / Kellogg. In 1996, Mr. Veith began his professional career in a post-graduate programm at Robert Bosch GmbH. Until 2003, Mr. Veith worked in various controlling functions for Robert Bosch GmbH and ZF in the USA, Germany, France and Italy. In the years 2003 to 2017, Mr. Veith has held various management positions for E.ON and later Uniper as Commercial Director, Project Director and Director Corporate Procurement in Germany and the UK.Since 2018 to the end of October 2019, Mr. Veith worked as General Manager and CFO for the Bilfinger Group in Lyon, France. Effective November 1, 2019, Mr. Veith was appointed as a member of the Executive Board of SMAG. Mr. Veith is responsible for Finance, Controlling, HR, Procurement and IT.
