Christoph Löslein - Founder

Christoph is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, Cambridge Christoph Löslein is the founder of Board Advisors and an entrepreneur. At the age of 19, he joined an IT startup company where he quickly took on management roles. He was instrumental in market development and product strategy, which led to a number of awards. In the years up to 1993 he held the position of Marketing and Sales Director and was responsible for an annual turnover of 40 million. In 1993, he co-founded DICOM in Germany and DICOM Group plc (Kofax plc since 2008), a leading business process automation software provider, which was sold to Lexmark for US$1 billion. As Executive Director and member of the Board of Directors of DICOM Group plc, he was initially responsible for building the European organization and later for Business Development, Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Communications globally. Christoph was instrumental in DICOM's IPO in London in 1996 and a number of acquisitions, including the acquisition and financing of a NASDAQ-listed software company ( 100 million). In 2005, he founded Board Advisors AG, a Swiss management consulting firm with the objective of providing software entrepreneurs, their owners and management boards with customized consulting services in the areas of strategy and M&A. The clients served by Christoph come from the following sectors: IT Software/SaaS and Services, IT Hardware, E-Commerce, Clean Technology and Private Equity. Christoph is a member of the supervisory boards of Freicon Holding AG (chair), Pyramid AG and Continum AG. He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, Cambridge, USA.

Urs Niederberger

Treuhandexperte" Urs Niederberger joined Board Advisors in 2009, focusing on providing advisory services on general management, M&A and succession planning. From 2002 to 2008, Urs served as group chief operating officer of DICOM Group plc (later renamed into Kofax plc) - a leader in the business process automation industry with annual sales of US$ 340 million (2008). Between 1997 and 2005 he served as group finance director. Before joining DICOM he worked as management consultant with BDO AG (formerly Visura Consulting). Urs was instrumental to DICOM's initial public offering on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in London. During his tenure as finance director, he managed the move from AIM to the main board at the London Stock Exchange, lead the initiative to secure a secondary listing on the Frankfurt stock exchange and managed to raise equity money for the company and the selling shareholders in excess of CHF 200 million (including IPO). Additionally, he managed the acquisition of more than twenty companies, of which two were public listed, and a number of disposals of companies or activities no longer core to the group. Urs Niederberger holds a degree in economics and business administration at the University of Applied Science, Luzern as well as a diploma as an expert fiduciary (Eidg. Dipl. Treuhandexperte).
