Anne Jarvis was appointed university librarian at Princeton University in October 2016. Princeton University Library (PUL) is one of the world's foremost research libraries, consisting of the Harvey S. Firestone Library and nine branch libraries.
Jarvis came from the University of Cambridge, England, where she worked as deputy librarian for nine years and then as university librarian for a further seven years. She was the first female university librarian in Cambridge's 800-year history.
A native of Ireland, Jarvis holds a bachelor's degree in history from Trinity College, Dublin, a postgraduate diploma in Library and Information Studies from University College Dublin, a master's degree in Communication and Cultural Studies from Dublin City University and a Master of Arts from the University of Cambridge. Whilst working in Cambridge she was a fellow of Wolfson College, where she served as vice president from 2006 to 2009.

Ariel Ackerly joined Princeton University Library in 2021. As Makerspace Specialist, Ariel coordinates PUL Makerspace operations and programming. Before coming to Princeton, Ariel was Makerspace Associate at the University of Georgia, where she designed and facilitated outreach programs and educational workshops about gender in virtual reality, hand embroidery, electronic textiles, laser cutting, and 3D printing. She has over six years of experience working in academic libraries and as an organizer of community-based, multimedia arts events.

Daniel Linke joined Princeton University Library in 1994 after working at the New York State Archives, the University of Oklahoma, and the Cleveland History Center.
He has served in leadership roles within Special Collections at both the Mudd Manuscript Library (which he headed from 2002-2019) and Firestone Library (2019-present). In all of his positions, he has worked to increase access to collections by employing modern processing methods, technological innovations, and digitization. Notable projects that he has been a part of include the digitization of the student newspaper and other local publications; the Princeton and Slavery Project; the Princeton Archives, Research, and Collaborative History (ARCH) program; and working with various university initiatives related to campus iconography and history.
He has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from Case Western Reserve University with a focus on 20th-century political and social history and has also taken doctoral courses in American history at Rutgers University.

David Magier was appointed Associate University Librarian for Collection Development at Princeton University Library in April 2008. A specialist in South Asian Studies, he previously served for 21 years as South/ Southeast Asia Librarian and Director of Area Studies at Columbia University Libraries. He also served as Director of the Center for Human Rights Documentation and Research at Columbia. At Princeton, Dr.Magier is responsible for coordinating the collection development funding and priorities for subject librarians at Firestone and all the branch libraries throughout the University, and provides high-level liaison with faculty in all of the University's Departments and Programs. As a member of the library management team, Dr. Magier participates in key strategic planning initiatives, and works to ensure that Princeton's magnificent collections (in print, digital and all other media) grow systematically and dynamically to reflect the evolving trends of research and teaching in all fields at the University. He holds a BA from Cornell, and an MA and PhD in Linguistics (focusing on Indian and Pakistani languages) from UC Berkeley, and was a professor of linguistics at Berkeley and Michigan State University before embarking on his library career.
He is well known internationally for his librarian training efforts and his leadership in developing digital library/global resource projects (including especially the Digital South Asia Library, the South Asia Resource Access on the Internet, and the Digital Library for International Research). He is a strong proponent of careful collection shaping and cooperative collection development in the community of research libraries.

Ellen Ambrosone joined Princeton University Library as the South Asian Studies Librarian in 2019. She has a Ph.D. in South Asian Languages and Civilizations from the University of Chicago, where she completed her dissertation, "Making Modern Malayalam: Literary and Educational Practices in Nineteenth-Century Kerala." Ellen has chaired the South Asia Materials Project (SAMP) and the Committee on South Asian Libraries and Documentation (CONSALD), serves on a working group for the South Asia Open Archives (SAOA), and is a member of the Association for Asian Studies (AAS). She also serves on the task force for the American Institute of Indian Studies' Digital India Learning (DIL) initiative.
Ellen supports the Program in South Asian Studies, the Center for Global India, and all faculty and students at Princeton that conduct research on South Asia. Her current interests include collecting South Asian ephemera, cultivating digital resources for the study of South Asia, and supporting digital humanities scholarship. She is also interested in the history of print, the emergence of public and university libraries and reading rooms, and language reform in South Asia.

Fernando Acosta-Rodríguez has been the Librarian for Latin American, Iberian, and Latino Studies at Princeton University Library since 2003. He came to Princeton from The New York Public Library where he served as its Latin American Bibliographer starting in 1997. He earned both his Master of Library and Information Science and his Master of Science in Politics at the University of Texas in Austin.

Jon Stroop came to Princeton in 2005 as the Assistant Music Librarian and held several roles in Library IT between 2007 and his appointment to the Library leadership Team (now Library Strategy Council) in 2016. He was promoted to Deputy Dean of Libraries in 2021. Before coming to Princeton, Jon was a cataloger at the Julliard School and an associate editor at Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale (aka RILM Abstracts). From 2013 through 2021, he co-edited the International Image Interoperability Framework suite of specifications, which fundamentally changed how libraries present digitized resources.
Jon's current portfolio includes Assessment and User Experience, Cataloging and Metadata Services, Library IT, Library Physical Planning and Operations, Organizational Effectiveness, and, in an acting capacity, Marquand Library of Art and Archaeology and the East Asian Library.
Jon has degrees in music from The Hartt School and the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute. He has presented invited papers and workshops at the British Library, Vatican Library, Museum of Modern Art, National Gallery, Trinity College, Queensland University of Technology, and numerous other venues. Jon also serves on the Board of Directors for RILM Abstracts.
