Harvey Hurdle

Harvey Hurdle has a long history of success in both the nonprofit and for-profit worlds. Harvey has been actively involved in the LGBTQ community since the late 1980s through continuous board service at the local, statewide, and national level including terms at the AIDS Information Network, Equality PA, and the Victory Fund. During his extensive professional career, Harvey was Chief Operating Officer of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) during a period of record growth. There he helped develop the Corporate Equality Index, along with a cutting-edge member database system that improved member communication and donor responsiveness. Harvey subsequently entered into the corporate realm as chief operating officer, and then chief executive officer, of Sellers Dorsey (SD), a Philadelphia-based national healthcare consulting firm. At SD, Harvey developed an integrated financial and key performance indicator reporting system that helped to more than double revenue and expand product and service offerings. He also helped create the Sellers Dorsey Foundation, dedicated to reducing health disparities within the LGBTQ community. Its signature program, Out to Enroll, was honored at the White House for its efforts to enroll LGBTQ Americans into health insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act. Harvey Hurdle's success in developing strategic action and business plans for transformation and growth, along with his decades of service in the LGBTQ community, set Leap Strategy up as a leading player in field. Harvey holds a B.A. from the Pennsylvania State University and a M.B.A. from Temple University.

Heshie Zinman

Heshie Zinman has a long history of activism on both the local and national level. He has deep experience creating impactful nonprofits, growing boards, and fundraising. He has a passionate commitment for the health and well-being of LGBT and HIV communities and helped shape the city's response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic from the period of 1987-1998. He was a driving force behind the start-up of Action AIDS, AIDS Fund, SafeGuards Gay Men's Health Project and Delaware Valley Legacy Fund. He founded the AIDS Library of Philadelphia (which today resides at Philadelphia FIGHT) and went on to become the Executive Director of the AIDS Information Network. Heshie has worked as HIV Community Relations Manager for Dupont Pharmaceuticals Company and Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharmaceuticals. Heshie is the founder of the LGBT Elder Initiative and former Board Chair. He has served on many other boards of directors, most recently joining the board of Philadelphia Corporation for Aging. Heshie is currently a member of Governor Wolfe's LGBT Workgroup, the Pennsylvania Long Term Care Council and the Managed Long-Term Service and Supports subcommittee. He was recently appointed to the Governor's LGBT Commission. Born in Philadelphia, Heshie holds a BA degree from Penn State University and an MBA from St. Joseph's University and resides with his husband in Philadelphia.
