WERKSTATT FUER GITARRENBAU

Born in Landsberg in 1987, raised in sunny Allgäu, I discovered playing the guitar at the age of fourteen and discovered guitar-making because of my distinctive enthusiasm for wood as a material... I began my apprenticeship as a luthier in 2008 in the Gitarrenladen in Weingarten, where Andreas Dill and Franziska Kössl, two master luthiers, taught me the art of making guitars. I graduated in 2011 at the Musical Instrument Making School Mittenwald successfully... The workshop is located near Kaufbeuren, Bavaria, Germany, in an old farm that is over 180 years old. Renovations are an ongoing process here as we do most of the work ourselves.
