ESISUISSE

The esisuisse assocation was formed in Basel in 2005 with the aim of implementing the self-regulation measures of the Swiss Banking Act... esisuisse was founded in Basel in August 2005 under the name Swiss Banks' and Securities Dealers' Depositor Protection Association. It is tasked with implementing the deposit insurance scheme set out by law and protects client deposits with banks and securities firms in Switzerland... esisuisse is a self-regulatory organisation for banks in Switzerland. esisuisse guarantees that it will cover protected deposits as part of the self-regulation of Swiss banks and securities firms. All banks with a branch in Switzerland must be members of esisuisse. esisuisse is a private association with its registered office and office in Basel.
