He provides his activity to national and international companies, in IP and commercial matters, with particular focus on issues in the areas of new technologies, communication and digital innovation. He also gained significant experience in trademark, patent, unfair competition and protection of secret information litigation and commercial litigation. After a first experience in Lexalia as a trainee, he worked with Professor Cesare Galli's law firm in Milan office from 2018 until the end of 2021 and in a boutique firm in 2022. He releases articles and materials in the field of IP and commercial for a leading publishing company. Practice Areas Corporate Law Professional experience Domenico started his career in 1996 and has more than twenty-five years of experience in private practice, in the fields of corporate finance, M&A, corporate assistance and debt restructuring. Domenico acts as advisor to Italian and foreign corporations, private equity funds, banks and financial institutions and deals with many different types of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, LBOs, financing transactions, operational and debt restructuring, joint ventures, corporate governance and turnarounds, and corporate and commercial litigation and arbitration. In Lexalia since 2022, from 2000 to 2005 he worked with Macchi di Cellere Gangemi, and from 2006 to 2012, with Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners. In 2013 Domenico set up his own independent boutique law firm, which joined Lexalia in 2013. In 2014 he joined as a partner the boutique firm HNF Avvocati, where he worked until 2016. In 2016, he founded the boutique firm NASaW Avvocati, of which he has been a partner until 2022. Domenico is often a speaker at conferences regarding corporate, M&A and insolvency matters, and writes for domestic and international legal reviews. Education Domenico graduated in Law maxima cum laude with Pavia University in 1996 and is a member of the Taranto Bar and also admitted to the Supreme Court and other Higher Courts. Languages Italian, English and Spanish Practice Areas Employment Law Professional experience Nicola provides assistance to domestic and multinational employers and has acquired significant experience representing clients in court and out-of-court proceedings. He has been involved in numerous M&As and was in charge of the related labour law issues and of the negotiations with the trade unions. Furthermore, he has experience of dealing with corporate reorganization procedures, advising companies at all stages of the process. He has taken part in the drafting of collective bargaining agreements, including at a national level, providing advice and assistance to employers' associations and individual employers at all stages of the negotiations with the in-house, territorial and national trade unions. He regularly represents companies in a broad range of employment related matters, including litigation concerning employees, independent workers, agency staff and cases involving Trade Unions. Until December 2011, he worked for major domestic and international firms (either specialized in Employment Law, such as Studio Legale Pulsoni, or multidisciplinary law firms such as Ughi e Nunziante), while in January 2012 he started his independent professional activity.
