Welcome to the LUC Lab at UC Berkeley. We research land use, land use change, and anything else we find interesting or important. Our research focuses on real world questions about how people make land use decisions, how policy impacts these decisions, and how these decisions ultimately impact the environment and people. Methodologically, we primarily focus on quantitative research driven in part by economic and social-ecological systems theory.
