To closely interact with the governments, statutory agencies and institutions to help them in framing policies and regulations that promotes recycling and environment-friendly businesses in alignment with REIA's objectives... The ultimate long-term objective of REIA is to make India a "Landfill Free" country by recycling everything... The Association came into existence in 2015 with a vision of working towards building a " ZERO LANDFILL NATION ". It provides principles for guiding policy and priority setting, and includes an action plan for reducing and managing waste. The Association has been registered under section 8 (1) of the Companies Act, 2013 with registration no. U37100DL2015NPL284636 on 27th August 2015.
