BARTON GROUP

The Barton Group is Geoff Barton's Bioinformatics Research Group in the Division of Computational Biology, School of Life Sciences, University of Dundee, UK... We are a Bioinformatics/Computational Biology Research Group that was established at the University of Dundee with the appointment in March 2001 of Geoff Barton to a Chair of Bioinformatics... We have a longstanding BBSRC funded collaboration with Prof Gordon Simpson on RNA processing. This has included pioneering work on the analysis of RNA expression and polyadenylation in plants by Direct RNA Sequencing using different technologies including Oxford Nanopore.
