Born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Finished electrical engineering in 1984, served military service and started working in 1985 as an all-round electrical engineer in the petro-chemical and ship repair, textile and paper industry... Worked my way up through various technical jobs and started working in sales in 1995. Initially in product sales and from 2000 in project sales for the port industry... After working 8 years as a sales manager for Cargotec Finland Oy I started my own sales and marketing consultancy network. The main focus is to execute sales and purchase equipment in the ports business, working for operators as well for OEM.
