Carlton Radford

Job Titles:
  • Director of Quality
Carlton began his career as a Quality Specialist at Engineering Industries in 2015. He has since advanced to increasingly more responsible roles and currently resides as our Quality Manager. Carlton has a BA from University of Wisconsin-Madison in History, he is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, as well as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer. As the Director of Quality, Carlton is responsible for overseeing the Quality Management System, ensuring the effective flow of production processes, making certain our customers receive a quality product. When he is not managing our quality processes, Carlton enjoys playing golf, watching movies and spending time with friends and family.

Craig Wadzinski - COO

  • Director of Operations
Like other Engineering Industries alum, Craig began his career as a student during a summer internship. After earning his Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Craig joined Engineering Industries in 1996 as a full-time as a Project Engineer. He later advanced to a Sr. Project Engineer, and currently oversees production among other things, as the Director of Operations. Today, Craig has to bring together many areas of production. He uses his engineering expertise to help provide the best path for keeping production flowing smoothly throughout the plant. Additionally, when needed, Craig will provide manufacturing and engineering support, help rollout new projects, and lead training efforts. When he is not hanging out at work, Craig enjoys sending time with family, driving around in the convertible, and winter sports like skiing and snowmobiling.

John Ballweg - President

John joined Engineering Industries as a Project Engineer after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. John was fortunate to have great mentors in Ron Daggett and Dean VandeBerg for much of his career. John has focused on quality, continuous improvement, and production process development for much of his time at Engineering Industries. Today, as President, John leads the company in their efforts to provide customers with plastic parts and assemblies that are critical to their success. John is a Registered Wisconsin Professional Engineer. "I enjoy working with everybody on our team to develop creative solutions that benefit our customers. I am passionate about giving people the opportunities to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities for their continued personal growth. Being part of a 100% employee-owned company is a great experience that I never take for granted." Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, woodworking, and tinkering on home projects.

Matt Nelson

Following graduation from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Matt joined Engineering Industries as a Project Engineer in 1989. Matt is a Registered Professional Engineer. For much of his career, Matt has focused on production process development, project management and customer support. During his tenure, Matt has had an integral role in the development of business processes, as well as customer relations. Today, as Vice President, Matt coordinates engineering and customer support operations in order to transform customer ideas into finished products.

Mitch Feller

After spending 6 ½ years in public accounting, Mitch joined Engineering Industries in 2021 as the Controller. Mitch oversees the company's financial activities and reporting. He is also the Plan Administrator of the company-sponsored Employee Stock Ownership Plan and 401(k) Savings Plan. Mitch has a degree in Accounting from Edgewood College and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He resides in the Madison area with his wife and three children. Outside of work, Mitch enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and watching sports.

Sandy Bieringer

Sandy joined Engineering Industries in 2022. As HR Manager, she is responsible for planning, overseeing, and evaluating HR services, policies, and programs, as well as managing the day-to-day people operations. Sandy is keen on cultivating a positive organizational culture and high employee engagement. Sandy has a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration and Adult Education, and has more than 25 years of HR experience. She is certified as a Senior HR Professional with both HRCI and SHRM. Outside of work, Sandy is an equestrian and spends much of her free time riding and training in Dressage. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, finding creative outlets through DIY projects, as well as hiking and being outdoors.
