Brent was raised in Grand Forks, ND. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota. He and his wife Tami moved their family to Minot in June 2004.
Brent has been in the financial industry since 1988. Brent joined First Western Insurance in 2014 as a commercial lines agent and has received his commercial lines coverage specialist designation.
Brent currently serves as a member on several boards in Minot, which include Trinity Health, Trinity Health Foundation, and Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch.

Brock Swanson joined First Western Insurance in April 2022 after spending over 20 years as a successful PGA Golf Professional. Cherisse grew up in Kenmare, ND, and is a 2008 graduate of Minot State University with double majors in Finance and Marketing.
She started her insurance career in 2008 as a receptionist and customer service representative. She joined First Western Insurance in December of 2014. Her focus is commercial lines insurance, and she is passionate about making sure each of her clients is adequately covered.
Cherisse and her husband, Dustin, have one daughter, Taya. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, spending time at the lake, camping, and boating.

Dave started his career at Wells Fargo in St. Cloud, MN in 1989. He has been in the business for 34 years, specializing in commercial insurance. In 2021, he sold his agency to First Western and became active in their management team. Dave is married to Jan and has children and grandchildren that he loves to spend time with! Jennifer Adam comes to First Western Insurance as an Insurance Agent in our Fargo offices. She and her husband Kelly live in Fargo where they enjoy spending time with their 2 grandsons and 3 grown children. Tina moved to Minot from Midland, MI, in 1975 with her parents and two sisters to be closer to her mother's family in Minot.
She started her insurance career in 1984, working in a small agency, assisting with day-to-day operations while learning the personal lines market. She has served on the National Board for the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIAB) and is a past president of the ND IIAB Board.
