Høiax is a Norwegian company owned by the Danish company MetroTherm and the Swedish Nibe Group. Nibe is listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, and is secondary listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange... Høiax was established in 1927 and is Norway's oldest and a leading manufacturer of high quality water heaters. As the demand for water heaters increased, new manufacturing techniques needed to be developed. Thus, in the early seventies Høiax was one of the first in the world to start production of stainless steel water heaters. Stainless steel water heaters are now commonly installed throughout Scandinavia... Man's increasing use of energy and raw materials presents a serious impact on the environment. Høiax works continuously to optimize the manufacturing process to minimise waste, as well as to develop products that reduce energy consumption to benefit the consumer.
