SMALL HOUSE DESIGN - Key Persons
Elizabeth discovered her love of design through work as a carpenter's assistant in Maine. Returning to the University of Virginia to finish her architecture degree, Elizabeth directed her attention towards design-build projects culminating in a post-graduate position on the University's ecoMOD project. Her passion for that work led her to establish Small House Design upon ecoMOD South's completion. Elizabeth is committed to drawing from her diverse professional + life experiences to create beautiful, functional, and affordable design. Also, she runs a lot - sometimes with Oliver but not if he can help it.
Oliver is the heartbeat of the firm and general good-will ambassador. He absorbs stress like a happy, lazy sponge, makes sure a healthy work/life/dog walk balance is maintained, + always reminds the crew when it's dinnertime. Oli + his two cats keep SHD's staff well-cuddled and loved.
