Corie McConnell has been a legal secretary with the firm since 1997. Like many from our firm, Corie sees the firm as an extended family and truly enjoys working in an environment where everyone treats each other with respect, honesty and caring. Corie grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to Virginia Beach after graduting from Duff's Business Institute. Corie loves spending time with her husband, son and their beloved dog, a Yorkie-Poo. She enjoyes camping and is passionate about her Steelers.

Michaux Parsons has been a member of the firm since 1989. She is a seasoned paralegal who handles plaintiff personal injury matters, complex administrative matters, tort cases and general litigation. Michaux graduated from Randolph Macon Women's College in 1988 and the American Institute of Paralegal Studies in 1990.Michaux truly enjoys working with personal injury clients. She takes great satisfaction in being a part of helping people get their lives back together after a devastating injury. Clients will often call Michaux long after a case has resolved, just to let her know how they are doing.A native of Norfolk, Michaux is married with a teenage son. Her family shares their home with two "fur kids", Mae, a labrador and Duke, a rescue Clumber spaniel.

Mr. Schmidt has been handling cases in front of the Virginia Worker's Compensation Commission since he graduated from William & Mary Law School in 2000.
