DIVING ISLAND

We use carefully selected, high-quality equipment suited for Iceland's extreme conditions. Diving Island is currently the only diving center in Iceland that uses dry suits with a dry glove system to help ensure that your hands stay dry, for a warmer, more pleasant experience... Diving Island was founded by two close friends and local divers who decided to turn their dream of sharing their love for diving into a reality... We use a line of equipment, including regulators, BCD fins, and masks from Poseidon, a Swedish company, founded in 1958 by Ingvar Elvstöm. Poseidon has pioneered an innovative product line for use in the rugged arctic conditions. These products focus on safety, while enhancing the diving experience. We are the approved Icelandic distributor of Poseidon products, and believe in their ethos that the equipment you take with you underwater, first and foremost, serves a life-preserving purpose.
