Freeport Oil Company Limited (FOCOL) was formed in 1967 by the Grand Bahama Port Authority Limited (GBPA) as a distributor of petroleum products in Freeport, Grand Bahama. In 1982, a group of Bahamian investors acquired FOCOL and remained the sole supplier of petroleum products on the island. Since then, FOCOL has progressively expanded its operations in Grand Bahama to include Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) distribution and comprehensive retail petroleum operations... FOCOL Holdings Limited is the sole licensed Shell ® distributor for The Commonwealth of The Bahamas and Turks & Caicos Islands. We are an integrated wholesale and retail energy supplier, providing a comprehensive line of high performance, high quality petroleum products and related services across a broad range of industries including both commercial and retail sectors.
