Archana Patel has done residency training in the department of psychiatry at Queen's University. She worked as a psychiatrist in Nairobi, Kenya before immigrating to Canada. Dr. Patel very much enjoys the time she spends at the Sharbot Lake Family Health Team.

Dr. Peter Bell is the Lead Physician at the Sharbot Lake Family Health Team. He grew up in Toronto and attended the University of Western Ontario. (BA 1964, MD 1968, St Joseph's Hospital Family Medicine Residency CCFP 1971) Dr. Bell started the Sharbot Lake Family Medical Centre in a house trailer July 1, 1971. Jill Dunkley

Jill Dunkley received her certification as a yoga therapist from the American Viniyoga Institute (AVI) in 2008. In 2016, she was part of the first cohort to receive her C-IAYT from the International Association of Yoga Therapists . For 11 years she taught therapeutic yoga classes for persistent health concerns at the North Lanark Community Health Centre. She has also taught therapeutic yoga for the past 6 years at the Sharbot Lake Family Health Team. In 2017 she received her certification as a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) instructor from MBSR Ottawa and has taught the evidenced-based 8 week program four times since then at the Sharbot Lake Family Health Team. In 2000, she co-founded the cooperatively run Yoga Connection studio in Perth . Through the Yoga Connection, Jill still teaches public classes in Perth, Brooke Valley, and Sharbot Lake. As part of her public offerings she teaches a class specializing in yoga for osteoporosis and back pain at the Yoga Connection studio in Perth.
