Southeastern Primary Care Consortium, Inc., Atlanta Area Health Education Center (SPCC Atlanta AHEC) is a nonprofit, regional health education organization. We are located in Atlanta, Georgia and serve Fulton, DeKalb and Clayton county communities with programs that provide a pipeline to develop healthcare professionals... We are one of six independent, nonprofit AHEC centers located in Georgia, providing leadership in the recruitment and training of healthcare professionals. Established by the Morehouse School of Medicine in 1984, SPCC Atlanta AHEC is a member of the Georgia Statewide AHEC network, located at Augusta University. We also are a member of the National Area Health Education Center Organization (NAO) and receive federal, state and local funding... Now known as SPCC Atlanta AHEC, we provide a comprehensive array of health professions and health education programs to Fulton, DeKalb and Clayton counties.
