VICTORIA GERMAN SCHOOL

The Victoria German School is operated by the non-profit Victoria German School Society, a volunteer board of executives, our director and staffed by a team of energetic and dedicated teachers and assistants. Our programs are funded through tuition fees and fundraisers, as well as donations from parents, the community at large, the BC Direct Access Program and the Federal Government of Germany... The Victoria German School is run by a voluntary Board and a School Director. The School requires the active participation of parents to operate effectively and will request involvement with various activities, events and fundraising... We are a proud member of the Canadian Association of German Language Schools and the PASCH Partner School Initiative. VGS teachers actively participate in German language professional development opportunities, and are involved in a variety of German culture activities in the greater community.
