Aless Clarke

Job Titles:

Aless is one of few physiotherapists in Christchurch trained in Functional Movement Systems assessments which look at full body movement and dysfunctions that may be contributing to pain or inefficiency in sports or gym.. Aless is a friendly and enthusiastic physiotherapist who loves treating all musculoskeletal injuries and pains, and them optimizing movement and performance afterwards. Aless uses a holistic model of treatment to ensure that the rest of the body is functioning well enough to support the injured or painful part, and has a passion for Maori and Pacific health. Aless especially enjoys treating lower back and hip injuries and pain, and weight-lifters/gym go-ers, runners and racket sports injuries. Aless uses dry needling a lot in her treatment, and is currently completing a post-graduate diploma in acupuncture to further her skills.

Amanda (Dea) Dauphinee

Dea has a keen interest in Women's Health as well as running injuries and rehabilitation - making her a perfect fit for postnatal mums who want expert guidance on return to exercise.

Cath Julius

Cath is currently only available for appointments via referral. Cath is a highly experienced Australian trained Physiotherapist. After graduating from Melbourne University in 1998 Cath has worked in Private practice her entire career and has experienced working with high level sports teams including the Australian University Olympics team and Collingwood AFL team. Cath started using Pilates as a method for treating clients some 20 years ago and is a massive advocate for how Pilates can help with movement. Having started Freedom Health in 2017 Cath is driven by her passion for helping people move and enabling everyone and everybody to keep doing what they love.

Eliza Morris

Erin Riddell

Erin is an experienced musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a passion for treating dancers. She contracts her services from our Barrington clinic. After completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Otago in 2009, Erin spent several years in Sydney working in a dance physiotherapy clinic and teaching Pilates. She then moved to London working at APPI and with the English National Ballet Company. Erin is fascinated with the biomechanics of the human body and uses a variety of manual therapy techniques and functional based exercise rehabilitation to get her clients moving. From her extensive work with dancers she has a specific interest in foot, ankle, hip and back injuries. She also loves working with injury free athletes and dancers to enhance their technique and performance.

Hannah Baylis

Over the last 15 years, Hannah has developed a wide variety of skills and uses hands-on therapy, exercise prescription and Clinical Pilates to help patients achieve their goals.

Hazel Rolston

Hazel combines hands-on physiotherapy with both equipment based Pilates and home-based exercises to relieve pain, restore function, improve strength, stability.

Jo Bayliss

Jo graduated from Otago University in 1995 and worked as a Physiotherapist in the US and UK before returning to practice in NZ. She has experience working with elite athletes and recreational athletes old and young.

Laetitia Bezuidenhout

Prior to joining the team at Freedom Health, Laetitia has worked as a musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in both a private practice and Medical Centre in Palmerston North working with a diverse group of clients.. Laetitia is experienced in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and has a special interest in treating necks and backs. "My experience has given me an understanding of the importance of increasing bodily control, range of movement, and strength to achieve long-lasting results." Outside of work Laetitia enjoys going to the gym, tramping, and appreciating New Zealand's beautiful landscape.

Sarah Abbott

Sarah works with all musculoskeletal conditions and has a special interest in postural analysis and the assessment of movement patterns, with the aim of reducing relapse of injury and improving overall function.

Sonya White

Sonya has worked extensively in the high performance sport space, specifically with Netball NZ and HPSNZ Pathway to Podium athletes and in private practice treating all musculoskeletal conditions from acute thru chronic.
