Callum's expertise is in strategies for environmental sustainability. He has over 25 years experience working in this field with Zero Waste Scotland, various environmental consultancies, Falkirk Council, and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency. Best known for his work in promoting a circular economy, he was instrumental in developing Scotland's first circular economy strategy "Making Things Last" in 2016 and now helps organisations reduce their resource use and manage waste. Callum is also a Non-Executive Director for the NHS Golden Jubilee University Hospital and is the Board's Sustainability Champion, as well as being a Trustee of the Golden Jubilee Endowment Fund. Callum has degrees in economics and environmental studies and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Waste management (CWIM). He lives in Dunblane with his wife Hande and their dog & cat. In his free time Callum is a keen gardener and enjoys growing his own food - he and Hande have an allotment nearby. Favourite pastimes include playing racquet sports, long dog walks, and wildlife watching.

Catriona Scobbie

Catriona is an educational professional with three decades experience at both school and local authority level positions. Catriona has experience of working as a teacher within mainstream and Additional Support within both primary and secondary sectors and has also held a Head of House role providing pastoral, vocational and educational support to pupils whilst managing Child Protection responsibility. Catriona is qualified to Masters Level in Education and has an additional Post-Graduate qualification in Dyslexia and Literacy. She is an experienced speaker who has presented nationally to multi-agency audiences of professionals, and whose work in building effective partnerships has been recognised nationally. She has been a member of both CEOP's Education Advisory Board and the Scottish Government Internet Safety Stakeholders Group and was involved in the development of the Scottish Government National Action Plan on Internet Safety for Children and Young People published in April 2017. Currently employed by Education and Children's Services within Perth and Kinross, Catriona provides support to staff across the authority, within both primary and secondary school settings, in the areas of health and wellbeing and child safeguarding. Catriona and her family live just outside Perth. She spends much of her time in secondary unpaid employment as a taxi driver, however when she does have spare time, enjoys reading, concerts and eating out.

As Service Delivery Director I am responsible for our overall client experience and overseeing the delivery of Lifelink's services. Strong Relationships and client satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do, and I work with a dedicated and passionate service delivery team who take great pride in working together to ensure we are supporting young people and adults with their mental health and wellbeing. Before joining Lifelink, my background has been the travel and tourism industry where I spent 30 years in various roles including call centre management, service delivery and customer experience. I believe that no matter what sector or industry you come from delighting your customers and delivering what they need is key to successful partnerships and a Lifelink we are committed to providing exceptional service. With my background, it will come as no surprise that I love to travel and explore new places, preferably where the weather is warmer and where there is a sunchair and cocktail waiting in the wings. I also love to explore our beautiful Scottish countryside and love nothing more that a long walk with my family and dog in toe. My other pleasures in life are music, cooking and of course eating and I am at my happiest pottering around in the kitchen and feeding the family my newest concoction or recipe.

Gerry McGarvey

Gerry McGarvey has worked throughout the UK, US, Africa and Ireland in Personal and also Community Development for the majority of his professional career. As a trained counsellor with over 30 years' experience in Personal Development, Gerry has used these skills and other therapeutic interventions as a practitioner with young people with a number of Third Sector agencies, and other client groups within the Public Sector including the Scottish Prison Service and a number of Local Authorities. Gerry has also worked as part of the Learning and Development team for a national children's charity based in Stirling, and has created, provided and delivered training programmes in organisational development for a number of national and regional voluntary sector organisations. More recently he has worked in publishing as an editor, writer, and researcher before being elected to Stirling Council in May 2022. Gerry is also currently a non-executive director on NHS Forth Valley and Vice-Chair of Clackmannanshire & Stirling Health & Social Care Partnership/Integrated Joint Board.

Gordon is a highly experienced technologist, mobile consultant, architect and developer. He has been developing software on various platforms for over 18 years. He has extensive experience developing cross-platform mobile apps on various platforms. He is a well-known Xamarin consultant who has delivered many successful engagements consulting to enterprise clients across Europe and North America, including Next, Honeywell, Tetra Pak and Aggreko. Gordon now also leads cross-platform work in Google's Flutter Framework, building both mobile and web applications for various high profile clients.

As Deputy Chief Executive, I'm responsible for ensuring our operational capabilities support the delivery of our business strategy and goals. This includes financial and commercial management of the organisation, resource planning and contract reporting capabilities, IT and Communications, Quality Improvement oversight and compliance with the ISO9001 management framework. Prior to joining Lifelink I worked predominantly in the private sector, having held senior roles within Strategic Planning, Bidding, Contract and Client Relationship Management. Much of this time was spent working with the Educational ICT sector, providing services to Public Sector Clients ensuring robust financial management aligned with the delivery of business goals. Having access to quality mental health services is more important than ever and I am proud to work in such an inclusive, innovative, and passionate environment, where positive outcomes for people are at the heart of everything we do. I live in the Southside with my husband, two grown up ‘kids' when they aren't away at uni and two cats. Outside of work, I love travelling (home and abroad), spending time with friends and family and eating out (lots of eating out!!). I also spend lots of time at the farm where my daughter and I have a horse. I can spend hours there pottering about in all weathers, to me it's the absolute best place in the world to relax and clear my head!

Liz has worked in educational settings in a variety of roles for over 35 years. Liz set up, developed and ran the highly regarded Youth Counselling Service for NHS Lanarkshire. Based in both North and South Lanarkshire it was the first service in Scotland to roll out universal provision of Counselling in all its secondary schools. Liz has also supported a number of voluntary sector organisations to create and deliver Counsellor training at Graduate and Post Graduate level. Liz also works privately in schools and in the community and provides clinical supervision and specialist supports to individuals and organisations working with trauma and abuse. Liz is a proud Glaswegian, having lived all her life in the city. She has 3 grown up daughters all with their own lives and careers and has been married for 36 years. Bonnie, the Tibetan Terrier, joined the family 6 years ago and has travelled extensively with them throughout Europe in that time. As well as travel, Liz enjoys reading and is an excellent cook.

Lorna has a 39 year NHS career with considerable experience in integrating health and social care services. She qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1984 and also has a BA in Health Studies, a Masters in Public Health and post graduate qualifications in Forensic Medicine, Project and Change Management. Lorna's clinical, management and leadership roles have provided considerable experience in service design, delivery, improvement and transformational change as well as operational leadership, strategy and partnership working. In January 2021 Lorna retired from the position of Deputy Director of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in NHSGGC but she spent the majority of her career working in health and social care community settings in Glasgow. Following retirement Lorna worked for Social Security Scotland for just over 2 years as clinical advisor for the development and implementation of the new Adult Disability Payment. She brings to our board her significant experience of health and social care design and of disability benefits delivery. She is passionate about reducing inequalities, improving outcomes for people and the delivery of person centered care. Lorna lives in East Kilbride with her husband of 38 years. She has 2 grown up children and is a dotting grandmother to 3 (4 if you include Archie the dog). She is a volunteer mentor with MCR pathways, an avid reader, keen knitter, home baker, and home cook who loves to spend time with family & friends, going to concerts/theatre, travelling and in the garden.

Marion is a specialist in customer centric transformational change and performance improvement, with 25+years experience as a senior executive in organisations such as Barclays and AIG, and management consultancies PwC and Deloitte. She has worked in over 30 countries across Europe, North & South America, and Asia Pacific - including Tokyo, Shanghai, Moscow, Tel Aviv, London, New York, Bogota, and of course Glasgow! Marion has supported the boards of numerous companies, and also organisations such as the Chartered Institute of Bankers, the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and the CCA. A committed advocate of the engagement and development of people as the key enabler of a great customer experience, Marion continues to work as an Executive coach and as a mentor to young people starting off their business careers. Originally from Pitlochry, Marion is a long time resident of Paisley where she lives with her husband, Jim, and adorable Labrador, Sandy. Currently in the second year of an Arts & Humanities degree, she spends her leisure time travelling, is a keen (but novice) sailor, and loves the cinema, theatre, and concerts.

Nick is an entrepreneur in the recruitment and technology sector. He founded tech recruiters, Bright Purple Resourcing, in Edinburgh in 1995 and is one of the founders of regulation technology business, IDE International, based out of Manchester, since 2016. His lengthy career of over 29 years in the recruiting industry has seen Nick work on people projects out of Scotland, England, Netherlands, Lithuania and Singapore. Nick has also served on the boards of ScotlandIS, National Chambers of Scotland and British Chambers of Commerce Lithuania. As a mentor for the RBS Accelerator, Nick is on hand as a mentor to aspiring entrepreneurs building their dream. He has been involved in various projects tackling the homeless challenge working with Social Bite, Crisis at Christmas and the Homeless World Cup. Married to a Swede called Margita, but doesn't speak Swedish (much to his wife's disappointment) and father to three grown children. He enjoys a game of golf, follows the football and a walk in the hills.

Stephen McAllister - Chairman

Stephen is a former police officer who retired at the rank of Divisional Commander in 2017 after a career spanning 30 years. Throughout that time he gained significant experience in training, coaching and mentoring Police Negotiators in building emotional resilience and crisis management. Despite retiring from the force, he continues to work with the European Police College, providing negotiation and leadership training to European police forces. Stephen also holds a BA (Hons) in Psychology, a Masters in Forensic and Legal Psychology and a Certificate in Counselling Skills alongside an NVQ in the delivery of adult learning. Alongside his work with Lifelink, Stephen is additionally a Trustee with Samaritans in Scotland and a non-executive director with NHS Forth Valley, the Golden Jubilee NHS Trust and the Risk Management Authority. Living in Glasgow with his wife and daughter he enjoys playing golf, watching football and enjoying the company of good friends over a glass of wine. Stephen has a lifelong commitment to his own wellbeing and realises the importance this plays in maintaining good health, having practiced meditation and yoga for over 20 years.
