BHA LIGHTING DESIGN & CONSULTING - Key Persons

A qualified lighting engineer, Philip was trained by Thorn EMI Lighting (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd in 1976 and 1977. With almost 40 years industry experience, he is a regular contributor to lighting and energy related publications. Philip developed a series of LED Lighting Technology and Applications Workshops which are accredited and validated by the South African Institute of Architects (SAIA) and Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA), a voluntary institution of the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). Well over 100 successful workshops have been presented throughout South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. The accreditation entitles attendees to claim Continued Professional Development (CPD) credits. Philip has been Chairman of the Cape Town branch of the Illumination Engineering Society of South Africa (IESSA) for two years, and prior to that was the branch development and training portfolio member. He is also a member of The Institution of Lighting Professionals (United Kingdom).
