Andre competes in both national and local Muay Thai tournaments with over 5 years experience training Muay Thai. Chris is a MMA strength and conditioning coach, Certified Personal Trainer (CMOFIT), fitness and nutrition coach, and Sport Yoga Certified. He is a coach for Professional Glory Kickboxer, Ryot Waller. Chris is also a former competitive bare knuckle fighter (7 yrs), 2005 World Shidokan Superfight Lightweight Champion, 2003 Stuttgart Germany (2nd place), and 2002 International Coupe De France Shidokan winner. He has over 37 years Martial Arts experience.
Martial Arts is my way of expressing myself. As I get deeper into this journey I learn more about myself. I first started with Muay Thai late 2019. I have 3 fights and am now dipping my toes into boxing and Muay Thai.
Jeffery Freelon is a student and scholar of many professions, from acting to personal training, but Muay Thai has a special place in his heart. He started practicing in college for 2 years, continued his training at Chicago Muay Thai for another two years, and now fights and coaches. Notable wins include 2021 IKF Novice full rules Muay Thai champ, 2021 class C TBA champ and 2022 Open Class WKA Muay Thai champ. His goal is purely to respect the sport and help others find their space within it along the way.
Jim founded Chicago Muay Thai in April, 2011 and has over 29 years experience training in Muay Thai. Jim has coached 35 National Muay Thai Championships and 3 World Titles. since 2019. His team won the TBA National Fight Team Championship back to back 2021 & 2022. Jim started training in 1996 under Wayne Gregory and Pat White. Wayne Gregory was the first foreigner to ever defeat a Thai in the famous Lumpinee Stadium training under Apidiji and Jonsanang at Fairtex Thailand. Jim first trained in in Thailand in 2000 at Rompo Gym Bangkok and has over 12 subsequent trips to Thailand training at Tiger Muay Thai, Dragon Muay Thai, Sinbi Muay Thai Kru Dam Bangkok and Hongthong gym in Chiang Mai. Jim is a former competitive Bare Knuckle Fighter (18 yrs), the 2001 Shidokan Middleweight Team Champion, and 1998 International Shidokan Cup (2nd place). He holds a Black Belt in Shidokan and Brown Belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (11 yrs). Jim also wrestled competitively for 5 years from the age of 13 to age 18. He is a former 2 x marathon competitor and triathlete competing in over 20 Triathlons including a half Ironman . Jim is the coach for Glory Kick Boxer, Ryot Waller and has coached UFC Fighter, Razak Al-Hassan .
Jon is the 2019 National Super Lightweight TBA Champion with over 8 years experience training Muay Thai. He is the 2019 WMO Winner and is undefeated as a fighter (6-0).
Mazen is the Revgear 2019 National Welterweight Champion with over 10 years experience training Muay Thai. He competes in both national and local events and has trained in Thailand since 2018 (Tiger Muay Thai and Phuket Dragon Muay Thai).
Mike is a former competitive fighter and coach with over 10 years experience training Muay Thai. He has a Blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and and extensive background in Kung Fu.
Ryot is a professional Muay Thai, Glory Kickboxing and MMA Fighter with over 10 years experience training Muay Thai. He is the 2019 National Heavyweight Champion (A Class), UCL Light Heavyweight Champion, and Driller Light Heavyweight Champion.
Sam competes locally with over 3 years experience training Muay Thai. He has trained in Thailand at Dragon Muay Thai, Tiger Muay Thai, Attachai Gym, and Lookchaomaesaithong Gym.
