BRADFORD L. CARSON

Bradford Carson is a highly respected Investment Broker with over 50 years of experience directing advisory-based financial transactions on behalf of individuals and corporations. In April 2008, Bradford left UBS Financial Services Inc. to join the Washington, DC based Folger Nolan Fleming Douglas (FNFD) team, where he managed and grew EPIC's financial portfolio. Bradford has been an active member of EPIC's Board of Directors since 1997, serving as Board Chairman for over a decade before relinquishing that position in December 2019.

Charles W. Sherren

Charles W. Sherren, Jr., RPA has 45 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Management and is currently the Senior Vice President, Management at Saul Centers Inc., (NYSE: BFS). He is a proud graduate of Mount Saint Mary's College, class of 1975, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Finance. Charles is also a graduate of the Building Owners and Managers Institute International Real Property Administrator. He has been a member of the EPIC Board of Directors since 1988; serving as Board President from 1995 through 1999. Christina Wilson

Christina Wilson, Day Services Director, has been working in the human services field for 16 years. She started at EPIC in May 2016 and works diligently to help lead, educate, motivate, and encourage her team to help the people they support to gain independence and enhance their quality of life.

Clarissa Mitchell - CEO

CEO, Clarissa Mitchell is an experienced leadership strategist who started her career in the disability sector as a college recruit. It was through this experience that she developed a love for what has now turned into a thirty plus year career, where she has a passion for supporting and advocating for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Following her first position as a Direct Support Professional, she amassed leadership experience by leading Quality Assurance Departments at both the Kennedy Institute, Division of Catholic Charities and Ardmore Enterprises. Following her time in Quality Assurance, Clarissa became the Deputy Director of EPIC before promotion to its Chief Executive Officer. Additionally, as a member of the first inaugural class of the Non-Profit Roundtable Future Executive Directors and a graduate of the National Leadership Consortium Institute on Developmental Disabilities, Clarissa continues to develop well-regarded organizational philosophies that continue to inspire her leadership today. Currently, Clarissa is a Board Member and Board Secretary of the Maryland Association of Community Service (MACS), a Board Member of the Prince George's Provider Council, and the Board Member of the Maryland Inclusive Housing Corporation (MIH). She is also a graduate of Bowie State University and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.

Eva L. Clark

  • Retired Senior Pastor of the United Methodist Church
Rev. Eva L. Clark is a retired senior pastor of the United Methodist Church in the Baltimore-Washington Conference. Eva served as the senior pastor of congregations for more than 20 years. Eva holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration; A Masters of Divinity Degree; and a Juris Doctorate Degree. Eva is licensed to practice law in the State of South Carolina and the District of Columbia. Before pastoring, Eva worked 15 years as an attorney for the U.S. Department of Labor. Earlier, Eva worked for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, and in private practice. Eva is currently retired and enjoying life being with her family and making antique porcelain reproduction dolls. Eva is recognized internationally as a top porcelain doll maker after winning the coveted "MAGGE" award for her Doll Artisan Guild competition entry in 2018.

FRANCIS DISALVO - CFO

CFO, Francis J. DiSalvo, CPA, has served on EPIC's Board from 1987 until he joined our finance team in 2005. With over twenty years of experience developing and implementing financial systems, Frank provides guidance in establishing accounting systems and best practices for the organization. His role extends to maintaining relationships with our auditors, lenders, and suppliers. More importantly, each day he takes a personal interest in the financial affairs of the individuals EPIC supports.

JUDY GRAHAM - Chairman

Judy Graham joined EPIC's board in 2009 and has served as secretary since 2014. Judy was elected chairperson in 2019. Prior to retiring in 2018, Judy was a Vice President of McGriff Insurance, a division of BB&T Bank. Judy's career in insurance spanned three decades, working to create insurance and risk management programs for business owners and not-for-profit leaders in Maryland and Virginia. Judy is committed to the success of EPIC. In her free time, Judy loves to explore the art of cooking and is devoted to her five grandchildren.

MARCIA BURRELL-ODEYEMI

Marcia Burrell-Odeyemi, RN has been the Director of Nursing Services at EPIC for over 18 years. Prior to becoming the D.O.N, Marcia also worked as a Direct Support Professional in EPIC's residential homes. Marcia and her nursing team provide premier health management and supportive healthcare services to promote, protect, and preserve the health of EPIC's individuals.

Myles Sheffey

Myles Sheffey, Director of Residential Supports Services, has been working in the human services field for almost 20 years. He started at EPIC in June 2016 and is passionate about ensuring that the health and safety of people supported are attended to 24/7, providing his staff with the tools and resources they need to carry out the mission of EPIC, and maintaining the compassion and motivation he needs to be an effective leader every day.

Robert Markam

Robert Markam has been a member of the EPIC Board of Directors for over a decade, where he represents the perspectives of approximately 200 adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who receive services from our organization.

ROBERT VRICELLA

Robert "Rob" Vricella is an Independent Real Estate professional in the Washington, D. C. suburbs. He served on the EPIC Board from 1988 - 2008, the last seven years as president. Rob is a graduate of the Catholic University School of Law, a member of the Maryland Bar, and a University of Maryland graduate. He lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland.

TIMOTHY R. FENNER

Born and raised in Akron, OH, Timothy "Tim" Fenner has resided in the Baltimore-Washington area for the past eight years. He received a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Akron and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from Kent State University. Prior to moving to Maryland, Tim also lived in Philadelphia, PA where he managed a grant program for over seven years. Today, Tim manages the Men of Excellence program at the College of Southern Maryland where he works to empower men of color to achieve collegiate success.

Toreico O'Neal

Toreico O'Neal is a Senior Branch Manager at M&T Bank. He has over 16 years in the banking industry assisting clients in the areas of financial literacy, investment guidance, financial banking options, and business development. Toreico received his undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise Science, with a concentration in Physical Therapy, from Furman University in 2003. He went on to acquire his Master's Degree from Webster University in 2013 in Business and Leadership. Toreico strives to provide maximal output in everything he commits to and lives by a philosophy that continues to drive him today, "If better is possible, then good is not enough."

Vonté Boyd - CHRO

Vonté Boyd, SHRM-CP, began her career in the human services field in 2014. Joining EPIC in 2022 as the Human Resources Director, Vonté utilizes her experience and certification in Human Resources Management to oversee Benefit Administration, Employee Relations, and Training and Development for over 200 employees.
