Dr. Jelani Ellington is an entrepreneur, consultant, coach, speaker, scholar, and author. Before venturing out on his own years ago, Jelani worked in several executive positions in corporate America. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Ellington has held several leadership positions in engineering, real estate, financial services, retail, and healthcare. Dr. Ellington has numerous awards and accolades. He has a PhD in Systems Engineering from Colorado State University, a Doctor of Management from the University of Maryland, a MS in Management and MS in Systems Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA from Indiana University, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University. He is the author of several provocative books about business, work, and behavior. His articles on business and technology appear in many publications. Despite the handicap of his education, Dr. Ellington has achieved considerable success in his entrepreneur endeavors.
