TUPPERS PLAINS CHESTER WATER DISTRICT

Tuppers Plains Chester Water District was created December 31, 1966. We are a Non-Profit Government Entity of Ohio formed under section 6119 of the Ohio Revised Code. The District is governed by a five-member board of directors elected by the customers, and each serve a three year term. We serve a population of approximately 14,000 people with more than 600 miles of water line installed to 5600 homes in Meigs and Athens Counties. There are 21 water tanks with a total capacity of over 3.1 million gallons of water. There are six water wells with an average production of 1.2 million gallons per day.
