Dewi Hopley

Dewi has been a massage therapist for over 10 years. She first studied for a Clinical & Holistic Aromatherapy diploma for 3 years. She particularly focused on how stress impacts the immune system and how this can be managed using massage, essential oils and providing space for people who need time for themselves. She has since been certified in various massage techniques, including Deep Tissue Massage and Pregnancy & Postnatal Massage which she will be offering at Lower Earley Osteopaths. Dewi has worked all over the world as a massage therapist, trainer and educator in spas and wellbeing retreats. She has worked on all kinds of people of different ages, backgrounds, cultures, physical conditions, including children and adults on the autistic spectrum. When she is not massaging, she enjoys painting and illustrating, sewing, doing various crafts and travelling. She also practices meditation, yoga and loves walking outdoors. Dewi is a member of the Complementary Health Professionals and is committed to continual professional development.

Emma Milligan

Louise Barlow

Louise graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with a Master's degree in Sports Therapy and is a member of the Society of Sports Therapy (SST). Louise is an empathetic, passionate Sports Therapist who focuses on creating individualised treatment plans for patients who have sustained an injury or are in chronic pain. She approaches treatment looking at the body as a whole instead of just treating the area of pain and considers the multiple factors that can be influencing pain / discomfort. In addition to working at Lower Earley Osteopaths Louise works with a ladies rugby team providing treatment on training nights and pitch side treatment on game days. She also teaches on Sports Massage therapy courses. Louise also holds a level 4 qualification in Sports Massage Therapy and a qualification in dry needling.

Mo Al-Nabhani

Mo graduated from the University of Swansea with a masters in Osteopathy. His journey began years before his unviersity education whilst shadowing a local Osteopath. This valuable experience provided insights into effective treatment approaches, alongisde advacing his patient communcaition skills. Mo is a regular at the gym and frequently trains in jiujitsu where he has experienced several sporting injuries. These first-hand experiences further fueled his dedication to understanding and preventing reoccurring injuries related to muscles, tendons, and ligaments, creating deeper empathy for patients seeking relief from musculoskeletal pain. He is passionate about understanding and helping all people and injuries, whether they're recent or long standing. However, his expertise is not limited to specific sporting injuries; rather, he is well-equipped to provide care for a broad spectrum of conditions. During his final year as an Osteopathy student, he worked in an NHS clinic where he successfully treated a variety of patients of different age groups and activity levels. This enabled him to enhance his diversity of Osteopathic techniques, including a combination of soft tissue, joint mobalisation, and self help exercises to alleviate pain. Mo contiues to advance his skillset and keep up to date with the most recent evidence as a guide when treating patients. His whole body approach is characterised by a comprehensive understanding of patient needs, encompassing not only the physical aspects but also the emotional. Furthermore, he knows that pain is complicated and wants to provide the correct care for his patients to feel better, meet their goals and provide a safe return from injuries.

Suzy Holmes-Beddow

Suzy graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with a Master's degree in Sports Therapy and is a member of the Society of Sports Therapists (SST). Suzy is a caring and friendly therapist with a patient focused approach to treatment and injury management. She uses a combination of hands-on treatment and individually tailored injury rehabilitation, mobility and strengthening programs to assist patients in achieving their goals. She spent 2019/2020 in New Zealand, working in soft tissue therapy, in both clinic and sporting settings, and has experience working with a variety of different patients, athletes and non-sporting populations alike. Suzy also holds a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Portsmouth, a level 3 qualification in Sports Massage, and a Level 1&2 qualification in Kinesio Taping.
