HIGH SCHOOL BIOTECHNOLOGY

It provides students with specific learning goals designed to develop skills in identifying patterns and understanding processes. Our kits teach students about toxicology and how it affects the environment in relation to the water we drink, the soil which we grow our food, the air that we breathe, and chemical-based substances that we use on a daily basis. This will help students understand the implications of what we inhale, ingest, and touch. The rise in concern about environmental health clearly demonstrates the need to develop methods to monitor and test our environment to ensure it is safe for our communities. We have students debate how we develop methods that will minimize the impact of chemicals, pollutants, and toxins on ourselves as well as our environment.
