David E Hines

With a broad experience in many different industries including finance, insurance, engineering, broadcasting and telecommunications, David Hines has six years of experience in the Powerline Communications industry. He was co-founder of the International Powerline Communications Forum, of which he is now the Chief Executive, an organisation which lists more than a thousand organisations and professionals directly involved in the Powerline Communications industry.

Dr. John Newbury

Dr. John Newbury is Head of Power Communications Research in the Faculty of Technology of the Open University. He serves on British Standards Institute for Low Voltage Mains Communication and also for gas, water and heat metering communication. He serves on the International Electro-Technical Commission Committee TC57, Power Systems and Associated Communications. Dr. Newbury is Chair of the CENELEC committee for Impedance of Power Lines and Filter Development, and is a Member of the Technical Council for the Power Engineering Society and Chairman of the Power Systems Communications Committee. Finally John also serves on the Cigré Committee for High Volage Communications.

Dr. Peter H. Krawarik

Dr. Peter H. Krawarik, formerly of Ericsson Austria AG, comes to us with over 34 years management experience in large and small companies. He has a strong track record directing major projects in state-of-art technology including fiber optics, video, office and factory automation, networks, telecommunications and systems integration. Peter has demonstrated expertise in strategy development and as liaison between development and application on an international scale. During his time at Ericsson he initiated extensive Power Line Communications programs in the company.

Mr. Bill Koch

Mr. Bill Koch is currently working in the Product and Business Development Group of TDS TELECOM, an independent local exchange company (ILEC) in the United States. He is responsible for the companies introduction of a Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS) resale program, the launch of a comprehensive long distance service offering, and the introduction of DSL service. Mr. Koch has also been involved in the creation and launch of the company's CLEC business unit. From 1992 to 1996 Mr. Koch conducted a telecommunications consulting practice specializing in the emerging competitive telecommunicationsmarket in the United Kingdom. He was one of three members of a special project team reporting to the Chairman of NORWEB, plc. This team was tasked with the responsibility for the commercial development of NORWEB's patented powerline communications technology. From 1986 to 1992 Mr. Koch held two positions with NorLight, a regional fiber optic carrier operating in the United States. As VP of Sales and Marketing he was responsible the companies wholesale and retail product offerings. He initially served as Director of Regulatory and Governmental Affairs where he oversaw the precedent setting regulatory activities stemming from NorLight's electric utility ownership and competitive entry into the communications marketplace. From 1982 to 1986 Mr. Koch was a product developer with Allnet Communications, a rapidly growing US long distance carrier.
