Dr. Gordon Cohen is a graduate of The University of the Witwatersrand Medical School and is the Chief Medical Practitioner at The Face and Body Place. His education includes MBBCh and MBA degrees. He also holds a CCN (Certified Clinical Nutritionist) qualification and is currently enrolled for a Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Metabolic and Functional Medicine. Dr Gordon Cohen underwent his training in Aesthetics both in the United States and in Europe. He regularly attends training courses and Aesthetic Conferences in South Africa, the United States and a variety of European countries. He is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and The Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine Society of South Africa (AAAMSA). Dr Cohen's areas of expertise include treatment of Acne, Anti-aging skin rejuvenation, Body Sculpting and Liposuction as well as Wellness and Weight Loss programs. It is Dr Gordon Cohen's firm belief that in order to achieve lasting results for patients who are seeking facial and body aesthetic treatments, it is vitally important to consider a holistic approach to the patient. Addressing external appearance issues and at the same time considering internal wellness and functioning is vital. For those patients whose primary concern lies with their health, Dr Cohen offers insight and understanding in the means to achieve that through proprietary Wellness and Weight Management programs.
