Dr Ganesh is the Lead Consultant Paediatrician and a Fellow of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and has been the Medical Director of the Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust since 2014 until he stepped down from the role of Medical Director in October 2018.
During his tenure of Medical Director, he led the Trust's Children and Family services to "good" rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Dr Ganesh is the Board member of the Telford and Wrekin Children Safeguarding Board and continues to be the designated doctor for Safeguarding.
He has contributed to the operation Chalice, the Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) that unfortunately affected our Shropshire Children and formed part of a multi-agency approach to combating CSE in Shropshire. Dr Ganesh has extensive experience in public protection work including child abuse, child neglect, child death and CSE. Residing in Telford and with his, now grown up, children having attended local schools, Dr Ganesh is passionate about equity of access to high quality of local public services like Health and Education in Shropshire and wishes to continue to work with partner agencies to achieve it.

David has held senior roles in teaching, local government and the General Teaching Council for England (GTCE). CIPD qualified since 1994, his experience includes Head of Professional Regulation at the GTCE and Head of Personnel Services in the Shropshire LEA . He has been a special adviser to government on the development of policy on school staffing issues and is now an HR consultant working mainly in the education sector.

With forty years in Education David has had varied career. He has been Chief Executive of one of the highest performing School Groups in the country, Executive Principal within a Trust, Academy Principal, Headteacher and Music Teacher. David was also an Adviser to the Department for Education, served on Ministerial Working Parties, member of the YPLA/EFA Boards, Chair of the Independent Academies Association, and a long standing member of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Leadership and Governance. David is now consultant adviser working across the educational spectrum.

Mike is Chair of the Learning Community Trust and also Non-Executive Director. Living locally, Mike is passionate about the area, communities and opportunities for learners. He has worked at senior levels in the education sector for more than 40 years and is highly experienced in leadership, governance and education policy including high level consultancy in the UK and internationally.

Nathan Wallis is Chief of Staff and a Group Executive member at specialist Financial Mutual Wesleyan. He has over 15 years corporate communications and colleague engagement experience working across HR, media relations and internal communications. He has experience in multiple industries from financial services (Wesleyan, HBOS), public services (Amey plc) and the civil service (Highways England). Nathan's role as Chief of Staff sees him leading a broad portfolio of activity including strategy, corporate responsibility, communications and culture.
Nathan was previously a Trustee of the Learning Community Trust and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. He is a father of three young children with deep-rooted links to Telford and the local education sector.

Christine is a former Chief Executive of the Centre for Excellence and Outcomes in Children and Young People's Services. Director of Children's Services, Telford and Wrekin Council (1997- 2007), previously teacher, psychologist and Director of Education. Advisor to the LGA, currently member of the Youth Justice Board for the Office of the Children's Commissioner. Awarded CBE for an "outstanding contribution to education".

Pat Smart is a mother and grandmother and has lived in Hadley since the age of 7 when her family returned from Brazil where she was born.
She is committed to the local community, especially to the schools and the children. She believes that education is the gate to the future and teachers hold the keys. Whilst Chairman of Hadley and Leegomery Parish Council Pat donated trophies for each school to award annually to their singers in a bid to encourage choral singing which she considers to be invaluable to social cohesion and mental health.
Along with her late husband, John, Pat worked to improve the local environment and through him, to have a green space registered as a village green to protect it from development. Together they have always supported the schools and children of all ages offering any help they could including developing a youth club. She helped to lead a campaign to keep a secondary school in Hadley and supported HLC from its inception.

David Woods has been a teacher, senior leader, teacher trainer and local authority adviser. He was formally the Chief Education Adviser for the City of Birmingham and subsequently the Chief Adviser for the London Challenge. Currently he is Chair of the London Leadership Strategy, Chair of the Birmingham Education Partnership School Improvement Advisory Board and a Visiting Education Professor at Warwick University and the Institute of Education, University College, London. He has written and spoken extensively on education particularly on school improvement.
