Björn Röber

Björn Röber is a partner and Co-Head of Digital at goetzpartners. He is passionate about leveraging digital technologies and new ways of working to help creating exponential organizations. He has developed and implemented large scale programmatic digital transformations that address the whole workforce and increase organizational agility. Further, he supported various companies in transforming their IT from being a digitalization roadblock to an enabler. Finally, he helps companies to establish effective innovation hubs to develop disruptive and radical innovations. Björn Röber was the lead author of several influential publications like "The Value of Our Digital Identity" or "Reforming Europe's Telecoms Regulation to Enable the Digital Single Market". Recently he has created "Think Cards" as a guide for people who want to embark on the digitalization journey. He co-founded DEX - Digital Executives Roundtable - as an event series for leaders in the digital space. Before joining goetzpartners, Björn Röber worked for several years at The Boston Consulting Group in Düsseldorf and San Francisco. In addition, he has founded several companies in the hardware and software space. He has a degree in business administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) from the Leipzig Graduate School of Management (HHL) in Germany.

Christian Bast

Christian Bast is Partner at goetzpartners in the New York office. He is responsible for the global Operations practice, focusing on generating value by creating competitive advantages through world-class operations for multinational corporations and private equity portfolio companies. Christian Bast has acquired deep expertise in corporate strategy, turnaround, large-scale transformation, performance improvement, as well as value creation programs. He has advised clients in Europe, Asia, and the United States across several industries such as TMT, industrials & automotive and energy. Prior to joining goetzpartners in 2009, Christian worked for Roland Berger in Munich and the Droege Group in Singapore. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master's Degree in Business Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany.

Christian Imhof - Managing Director

Christian Imhof is Managing Director and Head of goetzpartners technologies. He is an entrepreneur and experienced IT and Strategy Consultant with more than 15 years expertise in large scale digital transformations. He has hands-on experience in designing, building, and scaling process digitalization, data & analytics platforms, and digital commerce solutions. He started his career as a brand manager at Mondelez and then joined BCG to build up the consumer goods practice for eight years. Later, he shifted his focus from strategy to implementation and joined the Adecco Group to design and lead the global digital transformation program. Further, he has built up the business in Switzerland for a tech implementation company. Christian holds a master's degree (Lic. Oec. HSG) from the University of St Gall with a major in Marketing. He is a visiting lecturer at HWZ for AI, Low Code and for Bionic Organizations.

Dr. Herbert Werle - Managing Director

Dr. Herbert Werle is a Managing Director and Co-Head at goetzpartners in Freienbach/Zurich. He is responsible for the Swiss goetzpartners operations. He is also a member of the goetzpartners Corporate Finance IT-team. Dr. Werle has extensive knowledge of the IT-industry in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He has an excellent network and access to the top management of various IT companies. Within the IT industry, Herbert Werle has completed an MBO, an IPO and has enjoyed success in numerous buy- and sell-side transactions. Before joining goetzpartners, Dr. Werle served as the CEO of AC-Service, an international IT service company, for 17 years. It was thanks to him that the company became listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Before this, he worked for Hewlett Packard in sales and finance positions and with Sperry Corporation in the internal auditing division. Dr. Werle studied at the University of St. Gallen and at the Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris. He holds a PhD from the University of St. Gallen.

Philip Lloyd

Philip Lloyd is Principal in the Milan office and part of the private equity team. He has worked as a strategy consultant since 2011 focusing primarily on the Consumer Packaged Goods and Retail industries both on corporate and private equity assignments. Serge Prager is a Managing Director of the Paris office of goetzpartners. He has worked in investment banking for more than 15 years at several firms including Société Générale and Crédit Agricole, where he advised numerous clients in the TMT, aerospace defense, energy and financial sectors. He acted as advisor on the creation of EADS, the sale of Numericable to Altice and Cinven, the sale of Vivendi Publishing assets, the IPO of EDF, and the merger between Banques Populaires and Caisses d'Epargne. Before joining goetzpartners, he held management positions in industry, was CFO of a listed group and Executive Vice President of a high-tech company Serge Prager began his career in the French civil service, where he was in charge of the deregulation of the telecommunications industry in the 1990s. He is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique, Telecom Paris Tech and Sciences Po Paris.
