PREWETTS MILL

We are delighted to announce the redevelopment of one of Horsham's iconic landmarks, Prewetts Mill. Award-winning architect Takero Shimazaki has designed a sympathetic conversion and expansion of the former Victorian mill to provide an exceptional collection of 59 apartments in a riverside setting close to the town centre... There has been a mill on this land in Horsham since 1855. William Prewett became the mill owner in 1872. Under his ownership the mill became an important hub of economic activity in Horsham, employing many skilled workers. Inevitably, the mill experienced many changes during its lifetime including the move from steam power to electricity in the 1940s.
