Linda Ershow-Levenberg is Of Counsel to Gang & Associates. She represents seniors, people with disabilities, and those who care for them, by securing access to government benefits and planning for life-long family care & asset protection. Her tool kit includes estate planning, special needs trusts, litigation, guardianship, and Medicaid applications & appeals.
Linda has served as a mentor to other attorneys throughout her career, and since 1997 has been a frequent lecturer on elder and special needs disability law to attorneys, other professionals, and the general public, through the NJ Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE); Rutgers Law School Institute for Professional Education (IPE); and other organizations.
Linda has been certified in Elder Law (C.E.L.A.)* by the National Elder Law Foundation since 1999, is the past chairman of the New Jersey State Bar Association Elder & Disability Law Section, and is a member of the Council of Advanced Practitioners (C.A.P.) of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), as well as a VA-accredited claims attorney.
Along with practicing law, Linda is always volunteering. She has been hosting Douglass Residential College (Rutgers University) externs annually since 1988. She coached teams for Princeton Moot Court competitions, and judges high school Mock Trial Competitions. She is a mentor to members of the NJ elder law bar and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). Linda has been assisting people through the Darfur Refugee Resettlement Project, serves on the board of the Grotta Fund for Senior Care and YM-YWHA of Union County, and is an avid folk music singer/songwriter.
In addition, Vic has served on several boards, including the Manchester Utilities Authority, Haledon Board of Education, 173rd Airborne Brigade Association, Welcome Home Vets Fund of New Jersey, and New Jersey Youth Theatre. Vic is a graduate of Rutgers, The State University, where he was an undergraduate associate at the Eagleton Institute of Politics.
