TWIZZLE ENTERTAINMENT - Key Persons

Peter Robertson

If you think you recognise Peter Robertson then you probably do! His CV includes 25 years playing lead roles in West End shows, including Les Miserables, West Side Story and Grease, as well as TV dramas such as Bergerac, long running soap Take the High Road and numerous TV commercials. Peter started Twizzle back in 1990, but the story begins long, long ago. Peter's father was an entertainer, dedicated to keeping kids amused even when he wasn't officially working as a variety performer, magician and storyteller. Children gravitated to him, and Peter has inherited that magic touch. Peter is the UK's only Baby Wrangler or 'Child Whisperer'. That's why companies like Disney used him as a consultant for the film Cinderella. Pampers and Tesco have booked him to get babies and small children to react and perform on long, drawn-out advertising shoots. You have probably seen the award winning Evian Rollerskating Babies commercial. Peter's earliest memories are of being one of four siblings, helping their father with weekend shows. Magic and entertainment seeped into Peter's subconscious from a young age so, by the time he was asked to take on some of his dad's Silver Jubilee street party bookings, he jumped at the chance. He was just 17. At The Guildhall and GSA drama schools Peter learned the technical skills to compliment his natural abilities and ingrained passion for delivering the best possible show on every occasion. And after a successful career on stage and screen, Twizzle became Peter's full-time passion when his own children came into the world and he wanted to settle down in one place to be with his family. He set out to revolutionise the party industry and make Twizzle the success it is today! He is the father of two wonderful daughters.
