Adding to his legacy of contributions to the business and education community in Oman, Sheikh Salim has been the Chairman of Oman Oil Marketing (BP Oman), Vice Chairman of Galfar Engineering and Contracting Company, and on the board of the Central Bank of Oman, Capital Market Authority and Sultan Qaboos University. He was also a Shura Council Member.
He was awarded the Oman Businessman of the year in October 2016 for his excellent overall business achievement and contribution to the Sultanate's economy.
