Bob Elson

Bob Elson, M.D., M.S. is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Elson is a geriatric medicine specialist focusing on the medical, social and cognitive issues that impact older adults. He supports his patients in the challenges of the aging process, including memory loss, falls, frailty, sleep disturbances, depression, weight loss, polypharmacy, chronic pain and loss of independence. Board certified in Geriatrics, Dr. Elson joined Advanced Internal Medicine in 2014, and sees patients primarily at Hillcrest Hospital. Dr. Elson is married and lives in Shaker Heights. He has 3 young adult daughters, and enjoys basketball, biking and sports photography.

Dr. Debra Rozin

Debra Rozin, M.D. is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and joined the Advanced Internal Medicine team in 2010. Trained and Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Rozin specializes in the general care and wellness of adults, with a special interest in Women's Health and Preventative Health. Her approach to medical care includes attention to fitness, nutrition and emotional well being. Dr. Rozin lives with her husband and daughter in Orange Village. Her outside interests include biking, hiking and photography.

Dr. Joel Weisblat

Joel Weisblat, M.D. is a graduate of Brown University in Providence, RI and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. After completing his residency training in Minneapolis in 1993, Dr. Weisblat returned to the Cleveland area to practice medicine. He left the Cleveland Clinic in 2004 to found Advanced Internal Medicine, seeking to provide the highest quality care in a setting that allowed him to spend more time and develop closer relationships with his patients. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Weisblat specializes in preventative care, and the relationship between the body and the mind. Dr. Weisblat resides in Cleveland Heights with his wife and four children, and is frequently spotted hiking around the Shaker Lakes or attending high school hockey games.

Tyler Fitzgerald

Tyler Fitzgerald has been passionate about the medical field since he was young. Prior to his training as a Physician Assistant he worked directly with primary care doctors as a certified community health worker to develop protocols for treating chronic conditions. He also has experience as an AmeriCorps member helping patients to manage their health. Tyler decided to join the field of Internal Medicine based on his desire to develop a trusting relationship with patients that seek a sole provider to care for their health. Tyler has demonstrated during his training that he is a highly skilled and motivated individual with a passion for helping others. He will be a valuable asset to the Advanced Internal Medicine team.
