Since childhood I've always liked music, it's embedded in my DNA! Back in 1977 my dad bought me a used Kenwood receiver, Akai speakers, and a Dual 1219 turntable with Shure M91E cartridge. Soon after (like 99% of people at that time) I was upgrading (or downgrading from my current perspective…) to whatever ‘latest and greatest' audio system brands being marketed in retail chain stores. On 1980 my system got stolen and I entered into what I consider an ‘audiophile' depression period... Then in 1984 (while completing my BSc in Computer Sciences) it happened, I went to a small local audio store, Precision Audio Inc., and heard my first true ‘audiophile' system, a Rega Planar 3 turntable, Linn Basik cartridge, Creek CAS4040 integrated amplifier, and a pair of Wharfedale Diamonds Mk I, and bought it.
