Carlton Jones

Carlton Jones is a young vet in the sound game in San Diego. As Audio and Technology head of the Jacobs Center, he has worked with more than a handful of youth programs ranging from dance, singing and theatre arts. He enjoys giving pointers about sound etiquettes and things that he's picked up from pros in the industry, both from the artist and sound engineers' point of view. He looks forward to working with Camp Rising Star.

Chris Obermiller

Chris attended The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, and after recieving his degree and Pro-tools certification, moved to San Diego to begin his career. Since 2005 Chris has worked with countless artists including members from Megadeth, Lamb Of God, Train, Santana, Jonathan Moffett (Drummer for Michael Jackson, Madonna) and The Karl Denson Trio to name a few. Chris has worked with many types and genres of music and is strives to capture just what a client is looking for. Chris is proud to bring his expertise to Camp Rising Star

Israel Maldonaldo

Israel is an incredibly accomplished guitarist, bassist, and percussionist and carries a BA from SDSU. He's also a very nice guy, with kid-safe credentials. He is the dedicated father of two young boys, and he volunteers regularly at their elementary school, teaching and playing music. We are honored and excited to have him as a part of our new music program.

Prince Habib

In San Diego, California Prince Habib has become a regular at open mics and clubs throughout the city. It was here that he became known as a singer/songwriter known for smooth, soulful vocals and engaging freestyle live performances. He has performed at every major venue in San Diego, as well as in New York, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. He has shared the stage with acts such as OutKast and Talib Kweli and rounds off his incredible talent by working as a choreographer for music, film, and television. Prince Habib is proud to be apart of Camp Rising Star to give young artists much needed support and guidance.
