COLLEEN SIMMONS

Welcome, my name is Colleen Simmons and I am an abstract artist, working with acrylics, inks, vinyl, wood, canvas, glass, crystals and many more mediums. I have had a love of painting and drawing all my life, with colours being my main motivation. I have a love for all colours and their combinations and so have progressed to abstract art to be able to express myself through the use of colour. All my works are intuitive I let the movement of the paints inspire me and how I want the painting to turn out. I then use other tools to manipulate the paint depending on how I am feeling at the time, so each and every artwork is unique and individual, even if they are in a series. I love what I do and hope to be able to continue to do what I love for the rest of my life.
