Tihomir Valchev - Managing Director

Tihomir Valchev grew professionally together with EOS in Bulgaria. One of the first debt collectors when the company was founded in 2002, he went through all operational levels in the EOS structure to today be the second managing director of the company in Bulgaria, for which more than 200 employees work. Mr. Valchev's focus as a manager is on operational processes in EOS in Bulgaria. Over the years, he has been responsible for the design of the structure of the operational departments in the company - call center, legal department, department for evaluating receivables portfolios. He is directly involved in the establishment of the second call center of EOS, as well as in the development and implementation of various strategies for processing of debts of clients from various sectors - banks, financial institutions, telecoms and others. Mr. Valchev is the primary architect of the company's shift in focus from a pure debt collector to an investor in the purchase of non-performing debts. He successfully implemented a number of innovations optimizing internal processes. Over the past 3 years, Mr. Valchev has developed the expertise of EOS in Bulgaria in the management of purchased portfolios secured by real estate. Adaptability and the courage to bet on new services and enter new segments are the factors that, according to him, have led to the sustainability of EOS over the past 20 years. Tihomir Valchev graduated in Law at UNWE. He has been a lecturer at a number of Bulgarian and international forums in the field of credit risk management and organizational transformation. He has interests in history and foreign languages.
