Chain Reaction Systems was founded as I-Track Software, Inc. in 2013 by high-tech R&D / manufacturing industry veterans with decades of experience in the semiconductor, solar, hard drive and clean-tech industries. Before I-Track, Ian and Matt (the founders) had worked on the implementation of many commercial manufacturing systems, but always found them lacking in terms of flexibility, ease of use and cost. We often felt compelled to build our own applications in-house to meet the needs of our internal organizations. In doing that, we learned how to support all levels of the manufacturing organization and build Manufacturing Execution Systems that are easy to use, flexible to customize and inexpensive to deploy.
